US Customs and Border Protection introduces the CBP One app for ease the services provided for its users. This helps its users to submit travel documents and other information for better cross border travel and shipments.
By answering a series of questions in the CBP App, the appropriate service will be available for the user. This enhance the legitimate traveling and better transparency to both ends. This App is free to use and available for Apple and Android devices.
Appointments and Information Submission on CBP One App
CBP One provides option for advance submission of documents and schedule appointment directly. The direct appointment will be taken place at Southwest Border land ports – Arizona: Nogales, Texas: Brownsville, Eagle Pass, Hidalgo, Laredo, and El Paso and California: Calexico and San Ysidro.
The appointments can be taken 21 days in advance and it is available for non-citizens of United States. There are dedicated lanes for people CBP One appointments and non appointment individuals. For appropriate processing disposition, the CBP officers will request for available documents and inspect the same.
While registering you need to provide a phone number where you will receive a the OTP to authenticate the registration. A e-mail id is also necessary.
This app is open for Traveler, Broker, Carrier, Forwarder, Aircraft Operator, Bus Operator, Seaplance Pilot, Commercial Truck driver, International Organization etc.
The appointment schedule is also open for non citizens of US who are not having sufficient documents for lawful admission to US.
By giving accurate information during registration makes better chances of getting an appointment. Also you need to ask for an appointment each day to get the selection. To confirm the location you need also to share the geographical location details and live photo capture.
